ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical efficacy of knee arthroscopy combined with Huoxue Zhitong lotion in the treatment of anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) avulsion fractures. MethodsA total of 82 patients with ACL avulsion fractures were selected and divided into study group and control group according to the random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. Patients in the control group were treated with knee arthroscopy, based on which patients in the study group were treated with Huoxue Zhitong lotion fumigation and washing. The operation-related indicators, the Lysholm knee joint function score and the International Knee Documentation Committee (IKDC) knee joint function score before and after operation were compared between the two groups. ResultsThe first ambulation time, swelling regression time, hospital stay and fracture healing time in the study group were significantly shorter than those in the control group (all P＜0.05). At 1, 2, 3 and 6 months after operation, the Lysholm knee joint function scores and IKDC knee joint function scores the two groups were higher than those before operation, and the study group yielded higher scores as compared with the control group (all P＜0.05). ConclusionThe knee arthroscopy combined with Huoxue Zhitong lotion has significant clinical efficacy on ACL avulsion fractures, which can effectively improve the knee joint function of patients and is worthy of clinical application.
