ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effects of arthroscopic debridement combined with functional training in the treatment of knee flexion deformity. MethodsA total of 42 knee flexion deformity patients were selected, and they were assigned to two groups. Of them, the control group (21 cases) received simple arthroscopic debridement for treatment, based on which the trial group (21 cases) combined with systematic functional training. The differences in efficacy, VAS and WOMAC scores after treatment were compared between the two groups. ResultsPatients in the trial group obtained a superior clinical efficacy, and lower VAS scores 3 days, 7 days, and 14 days after operation as compared with the control group (all P＜0.05). There were no statistically significant differences between VAS scores 1 day and 3 months after operation (all P＞0.05). There were no statistically significant differences in WOMAC scores in both groups 1 day after operation (P＞0.05); however, the scores mentioned above 3, 7,14 days and 3 months after operation were lower in the trial group than in the control group (all P＜0.05). ConclusionArthroscopic debridement combined with functional training can effectively improve knee dysfunction induced by knee flexion deformity, alleviate postoperative pain in the early stage, which is conducive to functional recovery in patients.
