ObjectiveTo understand the filling conditions of working authorization of customized removable partial denture, and to provide basis for strengthening communication between dentists and dental technicians in future. MethodsA total of 4 643 pieces of working authorization of customized removable partial denture were divided into three groups according to the client hospital tier: the working authorizations from tertiary hospitals were enrolled as group A, from secondary hospitals as group B, from primary hospitals and private oral clinics as group C. A survey on the conditions of clients′ filling working authorization was conducted with respect to patients′ general information, design requirements, information provided, authorized signature, and date of finished product delivery. ResultsThe three groups differed mainly in items of age, contact telephone number, and date of finished product delivery. The filling quality in group A was generally better than that in the other two groups. ConclusionDentists commonly ignore the careful filling of working authorization of customized removable partial denture, and further work remains to be done to strengthen the detail filling of working authorization.
