【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo explore the efficacy and safety of hysteroscopic diverticulum repair in the treatment of cesarean scar defect. MethodsFourteen cases of cesarean scar defect in the department of the family planning ward of our hospital from January 2014 to July 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. All of the patients underwent hysteroscopic diverticulum repair.The operative condition and postoperative menstrual recovery were analyzed. ResultsHysteroscopic diverticulum repair was successfully completed in14 cases of uterine incision diverticulum. No complication occurred. The operation duration and hospital stay were short, intraoperative blood loss and operative cost were less. The rate of postoperative menstrual improvement and rate of menstrual recovery were 100% and 71.4% respectively. ConclusionHysteroscopic diverticulum repair is safe, can improve the clinical symptoms of the patients with cesarean scar defect, and may be the first choice for the patients of cesarean section scar defect without fertility desire.
