Endovascular approaches are increasingly popular for treating intracranial aneurysms. Whether they are safe and effective for widenecked aneurysms, however, is unclear. This type of aneurysm presents a particular therapeutic challenge because of the higher risk of rerupture, regrowth, and recanalization. This paper will make a review on the technique, complication, and its prevention of endovascular approaches in treating widenecked intracranial aneurysms
