Since natural orifice transluminal endoscopic surgery (NOTES) can reduce surgical trauma and postoperative pain, shorten length of hospital stay, hasten recovery, and result in no “visible” scars, it earns more and more attention of laparoscopic experts and endoscopic physicians. However, its complications such as secondary infection, fistula, bleeding, and organ injury can not be ignored. In order to provide the reference for NOTES ′ clinical application ，in this paper we give a brief overview of the mechanism and related treatments of NOTES complications
