The glycometabolism disorder is commonly seen in many types of tumor cells. Increasing glycolytic pathmay is the major characteristic in substance metabolism of tumor cells. However, with development of molecular biology and rise of gene transfection technology, new ideas and progress appeared. Our study focused on reviewing the recent development of characteristic and mechanisms in tumor cell glycometabolism. And it also paid attention to the recent studies on the relationship between glycometabolism and other nutrition metabolism disorder. Finally, the related works on therapy were summarized according to the recent research for tumor metabolism.
