【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo compare the effect of endoscopic thyroid surgery via an axilloareolar approach with a thoracoareolar approach. MethodsRCT trials were identified for strict appraisal and data extraction by searching the RCT Pubmed, BMA, EMbase, ASP, The Cochrane Library, EMCC, CBM, CNKI, CECDB, CQVIP, VIP database during 1999 January to 2014 January period. Stata/SE version 12 software was used for systematic evaluation of included studies. Results8 RCT articles were finally included, with a total of 1430 patients, including 757 cases via the axillary breast path, 673 cases via the breast path. Compared with the breast path, the axillary breast path for breast endoscopic operation in treatment of multiple thyroid tumors, can significantly shorten the operation time[WMD=-4.87、95%CI=(-9.43, -0.30). But the endoscopic operation times and the bleeding for the solitary thyroid tumor between two groups were shown no significant difference, WMD=-0.36、95%CI=(-4.91, 4.18) and WMD=-1.52、95%CI=(-3.47, 0.44). ConclusionThe trans axilloareolar approach for thyroid laparoscopic osurgery in treatment of multiple thyroid mass can effectively shorten the operation time, worthy of clinical promotion.
