Objective To summarize the clinical experiences of selective laparoscopic cholecystectomy (LC).Methods Retrospectively analyzing the clinical data of 28 patients with gallbladder stones,chronic cholecystitis or gallbladder polypoid changes who were treated with LC in our hospital from January 2008 to October 2009.Results 28 cases were treated with laparoscopic cholecystectomy;27 cases were successfully completed,1 case was transited to laparotomy.Postoperative bile leakage occurred in 1 patient,other complication like gastrointestinal tract damage,subphrenic abscess and subhepatic abscess,or intra-abdominal bleeding did not occur.Conclusions As long as strictly controlling the surgical indications,selecting the best timing of surgery and sticking to standard endoscopic operation,LC has advantages of less trauma,shorter operating time,less postoperative complications and faster recovery.
