Objective To evaluate the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound ( CDU) for adrenal pheochromocytoma． Methods The performance of CDU and complete clinical data of 29 cases，which had been made definite diagnosis with adrenal pheochromocytoma by pathology after operation，were analyzed retrospectively． Results The localization diagnosis accordance rate and qualitative diagnose coincidence rate of CDU for adrenal pheochromocytoma were 93． 1%，89． 6%，respectively． The two-dimensional ultrasound performance of adrenal pheochromocytoma could be divided into homogeneous type and mixed type． Conclusion CDU has important value in localization diagnosis of adrenal pheochromocytoma，and it is the preferred imaging method． Combined clinical manifestations，it has a high localization diagnosis accordance rate，and can be conducive to clinical decision making．
